ionHealth™ Pro Undersink Installation Steps

Tools Needed: Flathead Screwdriver, Wire Cutters or Sharp Scissors

Remove the ionHealth™ Pro from the protective plastic wrapping.
Remove and unzip the twist ties.
Unscrew the nut.
Remove the stopper.
Remove any additional twist ties.
Insert the adapter into the top of the ionHealth™ Pro.
Secure the faucet onto your countertop.
Locate the 1.4 Inch PEX tubing, and insert into the IN on the bottom of the ionHealth™ Pro.
Grab the 1.4 Inch PEX Tubing from the faucet, and plug it into the OUT on the bottom of the ionHealth™ Pro.
Plug the Smart Faucet into the back of the ionHealth™ Pro.
Turn on the ionHealth™ Pro.

ionHealth Pro Countertop Installation Steps

Tools Needed: Flathead Screwdriver, Wire Cutters or Sharp Scissors

Locate the flexible metal spout and screw it into the top of the machine.
On your faucet, locate the metal mesh aerator and unscrew it from the faucet.
Of the included adapters, find the one that fits into the opening on your faucet. Hand-tighten the adapter into the faucet. *If you have a faucet with outside threads, you will not use one of the included adapters.
Locate the diverter, remove the nut from the side of the diverter and attach the diverter to your faucet. Keep the nut close by, it will be used in a later step.
Set aside the unused adapters and parts.
Lay the machine on its back.
Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully remove plugs from the bottom of the machine.
Locate the white tubing that came with the unit and install one end of the tubing into the fitting labeled IN. Make sure the tubing is pushed in all the way to ensure no leaking.
Locate the gray outlet tubing, using the end of the tubing with the white piece, insert it into the OUT. Make sure it is pushed in all the way to ensure no leaking. Rest the other side of the tube in your sink.
Stand the unit upright and find the white tubing.
Carefully trim the tubing to be the desired length to the diverter.
Locate the nut from the diverter and install it on the end of the white tubing. Attach the tubing to the diverter and screw the nut onto the diverter to hold the tube in place.
Grab the pre-filter and cut the white tubing at the desired location. Attach the pre-filter according to the arrow on the pre-filter, the way the arrow is pointing is the direction the water is flowing into the machine from the faucet. The blue side should be towards the diverter. Make sure the tubes are pushed into both sides of the pre-filter firmly.
Plug the unit in and turn on the power switch on the side of the unit.
Turn on the water and let it run through the machine for at least 3 minutes.
