There are multiple faucet types commonly found in homes, so we provide adapters to fit nearly each one. The included diverter attaches to standard faucets, which has a removable aerator (where the water comes out). For pull-down/pull-out faucets, we recommend using our Deluxe Reservoir Tank with counter-top installation, or using and Under-sink kit to use instead of your side sprayer or soap dispenser hole, and pacing the water ionizer under the sink. *Additional accessories may be required for use.

Both city and well water source will work well, however consider using additional filters to remove dissolved solids and chemicals, or you can pre-treat your water with our 12” mineral filter if your water is lacking minerals.

Do you have well or city water?

Although our Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ 7.0 and Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ 9.0 work with city and well water, water sourced from a reverse osmosis system may not have minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which is required for our diverter to work properly.

City water quality can vary greatly depending on the municipality you’re in. Las Vegas has been known to have some of the worse water in the US, while Mt. Shasta in California enjoys fresh spring water year-round.

If your source water contains chemicals and minerals that you don’t want in your drinking water, you can add an optional tri-part filter with your water ionizer purchase. Treating over 1,000 gallons of water per cartridge, our tri-part filters remove up to 99% of harmful toxins and chemicals before your water get’s ionized. 

The first difference is the Deluxe 9.0 has 2 more platinum coated titanium plates at 9, over the Deluxe 7.0’s 7 platinum coated titanium plates. Another difference is the power supply. The Deluxe 9.0 contains a 350 watt power supply, over the Deluxe 7.0’s 150 watt power supply. These added plates and power supplies means the Deluxe 9.0 can create much more antioxidants than the Deluxe 7.0, one of the main health benefits of a water ionizer. Both machines have a warranty, the Deluxe 7.0 has a 5-year warranty, and the Deluxe 9.0 has our VIP Lifetime Limited Warranty. The last difference is the 9.0 allows hot water to be ran through the machine, whereas the Deluxe 7.0 doesn’t.

Through electrodialysis, water ionizers produce two streams of water, one alkaline, and one acidic. Due to this process, water molecules shrink in size, allowing your body to more efficiently use the water. Antioxidants are a byproduct of this process, which also helps give the water a negative charge. That negative charge is measured in ORP, or Oxygen Reduction Potential. Water generated with a water ionizer creates a high negative ORP, resulting in water with spare electrons or electron donors. Performance doesn't lie exclusively in the plate size and total surface area. Cases where you're told a small surface area, or an exaggeratedly large surface area are important should raise some concerns.

For example, a small surface area may not allow for enough electrolysis to properly ionize the water. On the other hand, a large surface area can create a higher cost ionizer without adding any performance benefits compared to a more efficiently designed water ionizer that has average sized plates.

A prime example is Enagic Kangen's water ionizers, while they commonly have larger surface area, they are continually matched or outperformed when testing pH and ORP of water ionizers that are significantly better priced, costing up to thousands less.

Our Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ boasts platinum dipped titanium electrolysis plates. The Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ 5.0 contains 5 plates, Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ 7.0 contains 7 plates, and our Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ 9.0 has 9 plates.

One of the most common plate counts is either 5 or 7. Generally, 5-plate water ionizers are less expensive, the 7-plate water ionizers have greater performance benefits when looking at pH and ORP scales. However, there can be exceptions, there are some 7-plate water ionizers that are outperformed by more efficient 5-plate units. Whichever choice you make, look for performance and features at a price you can afford.

Between 5 and 9 pH levels. The most common being "Daily Drinking," then a neutral pH, where the water is filtered, but neither acidic nor alkaline. There are other various levels of acidity and alkalinity depending on the machine of your choosing.

Yes, we recommend doing a thorough descaling about every 6 months, or 1,000 gallons. Instructions can be found in your user's manual for more the process. Other than that, the Aqua Ionizer Deluxe™ water ionizers have 2 self-cleaning features. After every use, the unit will initiate a 5-10 second cleaning cycle. After 10 to 12 gallons, the unit will initiate it's longer self-clean lasting 30 seconds to 1 minute. During this time, the screen will turn red and play Fur Elise for the duration of the cleaning cycle.

It's important to have self-cleaning built in to your water ionizer to help reduce the build up of scale and corrosion that may occur on the electroplates. Ideally it's best that a water ionizer can reverse it's plate polarity when it cleans for a few seconds, that way it will run for as long as possible.

Yes! We use active carbon filters in our water ionizers that last up to a full year with regular usage. They don't add any chemicals into your ionized water, and are much less expensive than our competitors.

Many other companies' water filters artificially manipulate the water to mimic electrolysis and actually remove less chemicals than they're adding. Most water ionizers' filters help remove benzene, chlorine, VOC's, and other pollutants from your source water. When you're shopping around, make sure you consider the cost of replacement filters and what makes up these filters. Our filters start at only $40. Others, upwords of $110 EACH!

Conversely, filters, such as Jupiter's Biostone's, use Tourmaline, a mineral compound, to increase ionization and cost $80-$90 to replace. Enagic Kangen filters sell for about $110, and use salt (sodium chloride) and a chemical found in bleach (sodium hypochlorite), to increase the pH and ORP levels.
